BAJA WEST has over 23 years experience in the fabrication of custom high-end quality furniture, lighting and accessories.

BAJA WEST hand fabricates, using the Old World European techniques taught to Leonardo Acosta by GERMAN and AUSTRIAN Master Craftsmen in San Diego California. Leonardo began his apprenticeship in 1967, during his tenure at the GERMAN & CANADIAN custom furniture company HAUSER CO. Becoming a Journeyman Artisan himself, Leonardo started Baja West in 1979.

Since 1979 Baja West has applied the following principles to its business:

• The practice of traditional European techniques in the fabrication of our hand crafted custom furnishings.
• The use of only the finest U.S. made materials.
• The promise to provide unequaled customer service, and guaranteed satisfaction.

With these principles as a foundation, Baja West is able to produce unsurpassed high-end quality, with a very significant savings in cost, over most domestic high-end custom furniture companies.

Baja West has made furniture for well known international and national interior design firms, architects, five star hotels, high - end custom furniture companies, showroom companies, and private customers.

Baja West has manufactured furnishing and lighting for several A.S.I.D show houses in San Diego California. Our furnishings have also been seen on the front pages of: San Diego Home and Garden Magazine, Decore and Style Magazine, and Interior Sources Magazine. Also a well-known interior designer has won first place in an A.S.I.D contest, with our furniture.
